WILDLIFE RESEARCH

Ikhala is constantly striving to contribute to wildlife and conservation research through the exposure we have on a daily basis. Our three main aims are:

 1) To build a bio-bank for threatened species as well as establish healthy reference ranges for blood parameters

2) To review publications, gather data and to share the latest scientific findings with other professionals working in the fields of wildlife medicine and conservation

3) To continuously challenge our best practice and evaluate anaesthetic protocols using the latest diagnostic machines donated by international NGOs.
